Sadly, one of my favorite players, Joe Sakic, is going to hang up the skates after 20 years. Over 172 playoff games, Sakic racked up 84 goals and 188 points and previously held an NHL postseason record with six game-winning goals. He took home the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP in 1996 when the Avs won the Stanley Cup over Florida in their first season. Sakic also won the Hart Trophy as the top palyer in the league in 2001 and won a Goild Medal in the 2002 Winter Games representing Canada.
