Owner of Dog Taped to Fridge Pleads Guilty

The owner of a dog found completely duct-taped to a fridge in Boulder during an argument with his girlfriend pleaded guilty to misdemeanor attempted animal cruelty. Police came to the couple's home on a domestic dispute call. When officers arrived, they noticed a big ball of tape stuck on the side of the refrigerator. It turned out to be Beck's dog. Beck's girlfriend, Abby Toll, used tape and rubber bands to wrap up Rex after the dog made a mess on the carpet. Toll, 20, has pleaded not guilty to felony animal cruelty. Beck was cited with a misdemeanor animal cruelty citation for not immediately assisting Rex Beck is to have no contact with Rex or with Abby Toll.
